Just curious. Welcome to Just Curious Media. This is Good Thinking, and I'm Jason Connell. So I'm back with another weekly reflection. There is a new theme coming, as there usually is, and it is positivity. I was thinking that surely I've done this before, but no, I've never actually done this theme. And this show is all about positive mindset, positive affirmations. So it's about time we just focused on positivity. So here are five takeaways about the benefits of positivity. Number one, positivity improves outlook and perspective. A positive mindset makes it easier to recognize opportunities, solutions, and reasons for optimism. I love that. I mean, I'm all about a positive mindset. And if it can help you recognize opportunities, solutions, and a reason for optimism, then all the better. Number two, positivity helps manage challenges. Approaching difficulties with a constructive attitude can reduce stress and support resilience. Yes, when you're taking on a challenge, it's gonna have its ups and downs. So the more positive you are, it will help you finish the task, finish the challenge, overcome the obstacles, if you will. Number three, positivity influences those around you. Positive energy can be contagious, encouraging, and uplifting family, friends, co-workers, and communities. I love this. And I've kind of always been this way. I thought everybody was just super positive and had high energy. Not true. A lot of people do, but people who don't really gravitate to those who have that extra energy, almost drafting off their energy, not stealing it, but it helps motivate them, it helps uplift them, and that's wonderful. And I tend to not make friends with people who are on the opposite side, who embrace negativity, who see the world through a different lens. It just doesn't work for me, and I'm sure my positive energy just doesn't work for them. So there you have it. Number four, positivity supports emotional well-being. Focusing on what is good and possible can promote greater happiness, gratitude, and peace of mind. Well, yes, I think we're all after greater happiness, gratitude, and having a peace of mind. Wonderful. And number five, positivity encourages growth and forward movement. A positive outlook helps build confidence, maintain motivation, and keep progress moving in the right direction. As you move forward in life, it is wonderful to have this gust behind you, pushing you forward as you grow, you know, keeping you on the right track, the right direction, with a positive mindset. We're going to be hit with obstacles. We're going to have to overcome negative things in people, but staying true to the core with your belief system, being positive, will lead you to where you want to go. So I'm super excited about the upcoming affirmations. And this is a theme that we will revisit more often and not wait almost 500 episodes to get to it.
